The new 450,000-euro playground in Argana Alta is progressing fast and, when completed, will be the largest open-air playground/outdoor fitness area in the city.
The Mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, and Arrecife’s Councillor for Parks, Ángela Hernández, recently visited the playground/outdoor fitness area that’s underworks on calle Tajaraste in Argana Alta.
The playground, budgeted at 450,000 euros, will have areas for children and adults alike, equipped with bio-health elements for physical exercise. When completed it will be the city’s largest playground/outdoor fitness area.
Pérez expressed her satisfaction “because soon the families of Argana Alta and Arrecife will be able to enjoy a great public facility that is for the enjoyment of adults and children, a space for leisure and recreation that was much needed in the neighbourhood with the largest population in the municipality.”.
