New lighting for Puerto del Carmen

Work will shortly begin to instal energy-efficient lighting to twenty streets in Puerto del Carmen.

The project, which will cost €354,200 will take place on the following streets:  César Manrique, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina, Austria, Tanausú, Folías, Isas, Malagueña, Fayna, Quinzuelas, Sorondongo, Polca, Princesa Guayarmina, Princesa Ico, Alcorce, Doramas, Bernegal, Ajei and Garajonay.

“By undertaking this action we will save energy consumption,” said Tías mayor, José Juan Cruz Saavedra. Most of the work is expected to be finished by the end of springtime.
