According to Lanzarote’s Data Centre, the Cesar Manrique airport recorded a total of 203,781 tourist arrivals this February, just 5% less than February 2020 before the Covid-19 pandemic.
The arrival of the Easter break has been welcomed with open arms in Lanzarote as tourist centres are much busier and hotels look to return to pre-pandemic levels of occupancy.
In February the island recorded a total of 203,781 tourists (which is just 5% less than February 2020, 215,054) which marks the month as the third best since the pandemic was declared in March 2020, behind October and November 2021.
It’s no surprise that arrivals from the United Kingdom made up the majority of arrivals in February, with a total of 88,569 or 47.8% of all international tourists. Following that was Germany and third place France.
