The Fisherman with Marlin sculpture on the roundabout at the entrance to Lanzarote’s Marina has been damaged recently, with residents noticing that the fishing rod has been bent.
The Fisherman with Marlin is a sculpture by Jorge Isaac Media which was unveiled at the roundabout at the entrance to Lanzarote’s Marina in February this year.
At the start of this week residents noticed that the fisherman’s rod has been bent downwards. It is presumed that this is another case of vandalism, however, with no incident reported it is not known for certain how the sculpture has been damaged.
