The Teguise Ayuntamiento have announced the start of renovation works in Costa Teguise that, over the next 5 months, will see improvements made to several streets in the popular holiday resort.
The company awarded with the renovation contract will carry out work on several different streets and playgrounds thanks to an investment of over 440,000 euros.
Beginning this Monday on the Avenida del Golf, the Lanzarote company Hormiconsa will have 5 months to complete the works.
Mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, visited the works in the municipality and stated that the new phase is “necessary to improve the town of Costa Teguise in terms of roads, works, safety and accessibility, which have been added to the plans for the renovation of lighting and asphalting, while new investments are prepared in view of the unstoppable population growth of Costa Teguise and its urban development.”
