Next Monday the Canary Islands will receieve 54,000 Covid-19 vaccine doses that are to be used for vaccinating children from the ages of 5 to 11.
As part of the ongoing national vaccination campaign, the Canary Islands will be receiving fifty-four thousand Covid-19 vaccine doses for children aged 5-11; an age group which adds up to 136,910 boys and girls in total.
The vaccinations will commence next Wednesday, prioritising those with health issues first. To ask for your appointment, you can call 922470012 or 928301012, or alternatively you can make an appointment through the SCS app.
The vaccination campaign is to protect minors from transmitting the virus at homes, schools and in the community; as well as to reduce the possible spread of new variants.
In addition, medical centres will continue to follow up on second and third doses that correspond with those who have only received their first.
