A busy weekend for Lanzarote’s emergency services began on Saturday, when two cars collided on the LZ-20 at Mozaga, leaving one of the vehicles on its roof.  Fortunately, all of the occupants of the vehicles were able to get out, and none were seriously injured.

On Sunday afternoon, another car flipped over on the entrance to Arrecife, and later that night two more cars collided at Nazaret. Once again, no one was seriously injured.

Firemen were also called to a blaze in an underground carpark in the Titerroy area of Arrecife, attended a fire in an abandoned building at La Roca, near Arrecife’s Marina, and extinguished a burning car in Mancha Blanca.
