Puerto del Carmen restaurant owner Agustín García Rodríguez, known as “Tino”, has died at the age of 56.
Tino opened the El Sardinero restaurant in the old town of Puerto del Carmen in 1982, and went on to own a dozen restaurants on the island.
Aside from his restaurants, Tino was a keen fisherman and footballer, playing for UD Lanzarote and Santa Brigida in Gran Canaria.
