Two people die in crash on Playa Blanca-Yaiza Road

Two people died yesterday evening in a collision between a car and a bus on the road from Playa Blanca to Yaiza.

Emergency services have confirmed the death of an Italian couple who were residents of Playa Blanca. A six-year-old child, also travelling in the car, survived the crash and is apparently in a good state of health at the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital. 

The incident took place at around 7.30 pm on Thursday 11^th June, near the Repsol petrol, station. A 36-year-old passenger on the bus was also taken to hospital.
