With one match to go, all three Lanzarote teams are likely to continue competing in Group 12 of the Spain’s Third Federation next season.
UD Lanzarote and Union Sur Yaiza are already safe from relegation, while San Bartolomé need a point from their final home game against Tenerife C on May 10th to guarantee survival.
Lanzarote also host a Tenerife side, Real Union, at home for their final match next Sunday.
Meanwhile, UD Las Palmas, historically the Canary Islands’ most successful club, look likely to qualify for the play-offs for promotion to La Liga. With four games to play and a scorching run of form, Los Canarios could even snatch an automatic place if results run their way.
