More than 100 Canarian businesses are taking part at the Salón Gourmets event in Madrid this week, with the Lanzarote stall featuring local wines, cheeses, chocolates, and salt.

Salón Gourmets is the main annual showcase of high-end food and beverages. At this top event visitors can find from the most exquisite of traditional products to the newest trends, aimed exclusively at gastronomy professionals.
It’s the number 1 quality food and beverage fair in Europe and one of the most prestigious in the world. With a history of 35 consecutive events, growing numbers and a purely commercial spirit, it is the most visited by national and international professionals in the gastronomic sector: restaurants, hotels, distributors, catering and specialized wholesalers and retailers.
This year more than 100 Canarian businesses are promoting their products at the fair with the intention of opening new channels of marketing. Lanzarote’s stall in the Canary Islands section include cheeses, wines, chocolates, salt from Salinas de Janubio and more.
