Calle Salinas in Puerto del Carmen will be closed from 7 am on Saturday while council workers prune and maintain palm trees.
Calle Salinas runs from the Puerto del Carmen secondary school on C/Reina Sofia to the Lidl supermarket on C/Juan Carlos I. Tias council claims that road closures will be kept to a minimum until the work is completed.
Similar works will then be carried out in other parts of the resort.
