Road resurfacing works started this Monday on the main part of Calle Manolo Millares in Arrecife, the road which runs through Arrecife.
As a result of the work, the road has been cut off to traffic in certain parts meaning that traffic will be diverted onto the seafront or down one of the side streets further into Arrecife.
According to a report in La Voz, the works shouldn’t take long to complete, however, and exact completion date hasn’t been stated by their Arrecife Ayuntamiento sources.
Works on the stretch of road have been taking place for months but the Ayuntamiento state that progress has accelerated recently with the old road being lifted and pavements finished.
