Ambulance staff managed to prevent a suicide attempt yesterday in Arrecife.
Emergency services were contacted at 9.30 pm and informed that a person was hanging from the railing of the pedestrian footbridge that crosses the LZ3 Arrecife ringroad at the hospital roundabout.
When firemen arrived on the scene, the local police informed them that the ambulance staff were already attending to the person.
