The Yaiza Aytunamiento invites all to celebrate Día de Canarias this weekend, in the village of Yaiza and Playa Blanca with two whole days of events and activities.
This Sunday and coming Monday (May 29th and 30th) the Yaiza Ayuntamiento invite you to join the sunny southern municipality in the Día de Canarias celebrations. Two whole days filled with local music, local sports and local traditions with which the Ayuntamiento pay homage to the Canarian way of life and its people – as well as those from different regions and countries who have embraced the Canarian culture and decided to live their life on the island.
The start of the celebrations commence this Sunday at 8pm in Yaiza, where you can expect to dance, sing and party all night in the Plaza de Remedios.

Yaiza Councillor for Festivals, Javier Camacho, calls “all residents of the municipality, tourists, and neighbours from other municipalities to share an intimate evening where you can taste typical Canarian products.”.
On Monday the 30th May the festivities will start at 10am in Playa Blanca, calle Limones. You can expect to find musical performances as well as Canarian Wrestling matches on the towns beach.
