This week the Arrecife Ayuntamiento continues its work to repair and renew certain areas of the capital. The skatepark will have all new wooden ramps, metal sheeting and a new coat of paint.

The Arrecife Ayuntamiento continues its dedication to repairing certain areas of Arrecife. The popular skatepark will have all new carpentry on the ramps, as well as new metal sheeting that surrounds the ramps. In addition to this, there will be two new ramps installed in the park.
With a budget of €8000+ euros, the company Grow Producciones SL will take on the project and have a 3-week period to complete the works.
Youth Councilor, Eli Merino, stated “the park will have two new ramps added to it, which were until now unused at the football pitch, to add to the skating circuit”.
Councilor for Sports, Eduardo Placeres, will ask the skaters the keep the park in good condition after the repair. Over the years, naturally, the skatepark has had graffiti sprayed onto it by skaters.
