Arrecife proves popular with tourists as a recent study shows that the capitol is the second most visited location.
In a recent study by Promotur, they found that Arrecife is the second most visited location by tourists in Lanzarote. It’s not much of a surprise as the city has so much to offer to newcomers and Lanzarote regulars.
Topping the most-visited list is the Montañas del Fuego and Ruta de los Volcanes with 35.4%. The give attractions following Arrecife in second place are, Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Río, Teguise Market, Cueva de los Verdes, Jardin de Cactus.
Sadly the stunning Castillo de San José which boasts sea views, a bar/restaurant and art gallery, came last with just 4.5%
