Yellow rain and storm alert for Lanzarote this Sunday

A yellow rain and storm alert has been issued by Spain’s weather agency AEMET for Lanzarote this Sunday, 8^th November.

The alert lasts from midday to midnight and relates to the arrival of Storm Bruna to the islands. The huge tropical storm will pass west of the islands and is predicted to bring heavy rainfall and storms to the western islands but could also affect Lanzarote.

Rainfall of up to 20 mms per hour is possible, and humidity will remain high, continuing the warm. sweaty conditions of recent days.
