Yaiza will spend over 800,000 euros on 100 cameras to invigilate and control traffic

Yaiza Ayuntamiento will spend €803,000 on 100 cameras to invigilate and control road traffic.

The four-year contract has been awarded to Intan Systems and will see cameras installed at 50 specific points in the municipality, with special attention to Playa Blanca. The cameras will have anti-vandalism features and will be able to operate at night.

Another 34, equipped with high resolution optics, cameras will be tasked with recognising registration numbers.
