The average price of a night’s tourist accommodation in Yaiza has exceeded €150 for the first time.
The Canarian Institute of Statistics’ survey into tourist accommodation has stated that a night in the municipality of Yaiza, which contains Playa Blanca and Puerto Calero, was €153.48 in August this year.
This is significantly higher than the island’s average of €127.11, and the overall Canarian average of €117.55.
It is also well above the average in Lanzarote’s two other main tourist areas. In Teguise, an average night costs €103.1, and in Tías €118.
The cheapest accommodation was found in Haría (€76.8) and Arrecife (€88.85).
