Vehicle Crashes Into Barrier on LZ-18 Near Arrecife

A car hit a crash barrier on Sunday morning, and its occupants left the scene of the accident before emergency services arrived.

The incident was reported at 4.18 in the morning on the LZ-18 road leading from Arrecife towards Costa Teguise.

When emergency services arrived, they discovered that a car has apparently smashed into one of the crash barriers by the roadside. No other vehicle appears to have been involved.

 The occupants of the vehicle had already left the scene, and firefighters were left with the task of clearing the road and removing the vehicle.
