Two People Seriously Injured After Car Leaves Road in Tinajo

Two people were seriously injured after a vehicle veered off the road on the camino de Las Malvas in Tinajo on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened at approximately 3:30pm on Wednesday, September 16.

Local Police officers, two ambulances, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.

Firefighters were required to free one of the occupants after they became trapped inside the vehicle. Once freed, the occupant was transported by stretcher to a nearby ambulance.

Medical personnel treated a man and a woman who had suffered from multiple serious injuries. After being stabilised, both were transported to the Dr Molina Orosa Hospital for further treatment.
