103 people, including 11 women and four children, arrived on two inflatables last night.
The first boat, containing 58 people, had left from Tarfaya and was picked up by Maritime Rescue 22 miles off the coast of Lanzarote. It was escorted to the pier in Arrecife.
While this rescue was taking place, another boat containing 45 people put ashore at Las Caletas near Costa Teguise, where police and Cruz Roja attended them.
