Playa Blanca sports centre estimated to reach €11 million for completion

Contracts for works to complete the Playa Blanca sports pavilion will be tendered over the summer, Yaiza Mayor Óscar Noda stated yesterday.

The announcement followed the completion of a report on works left to be done by the previous contractor, Levantina Ingeniería y Construcción S.L., which went bust in the summer of 2024. 

The report estimated that the construction of the pavilion is 95% complete, but that additional works on decoration and equipment leave a further 20% to be done. The cost of the pavilion, which so far has reached €8 million, is estimated to reach €11 million.
