Over 700 people have signed up for the long-distance race, the short-distance race and the walking event. All participants will complete their routes through the wine region of La Geria.
Organisers have indicated that registrations could reach 1,500, depending on how the pace of sign-ups continues between now and May. Those wishing to take part can visit the official website, www.sipamlanzarote.com/winerun.
The entry fee for the 23-kilometre race is 45 euros, while the 12-kilometre race costs 37 euros and the walking event is priced at 30 euros. In all cases, participants receive the official T-shirt. Registration closes on 7th June.
On 13th June, race bibs will be distributed during an event featuring the Wine Run Kids, which will put the spotlight on children. The three activities for adults will take place on 14th June. Food stalls will be available on both dates.
