A 38-year-old man was seriously injured after being knocked down by a car in Costa Teguise yesterday.
The incident occurred at around 6 pm on the Avenida de las Islas Canarias.
Emergency services attended the scene and paramedics established that the man had suffered a serious fracture to one of his legs.
He was transferred by ambulance to the Dr José Molina Orosa hospital.
