Emergency services were called to Papagayo beach yesterday afternoon, after reports of a man suffering respiratory issues.
At approximately 1pm this Monday, the fire fighters and an ambulance arrived at Papagayo beach to assist a swimmer who had begun suffering back pain and breathing issues.
Once stabilised the man was taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife.
