The Cabildo and Arrecife Ayuntamiento yesterday presented the line-ups for one of the biggest events of the summer, the Lava Live festival, which will take place over two weekends in June and July.
The concerts, which will take place in a newly created stadium space near the Cabildo building, are as follows:
Friday, June 12, will feature rock and indie, featuring Leiva, Iván Ferreiro, and Molotov as headliners, supported by Los Callaos and DJ Tali Arenao
Saturday, June 13, will hark back to 80s Spain, as veterans Hombres G top the bill, along with Ke Personajes, La Cabra Mecánica, La Tom Son, and DJ Nandy Paredes.
Friday, July 24 is sure to be a sell-out, as Juan Luis Guerra takes to the stage. Guerra was one of latin music’s biggest names in the 1990s, when he relaunched Dominican bachata and merengue styles for a new generation. He’ll be supported by Ana Mena, Juanma Ventura, Malpéis, and Renzzo El Selector.
The festival will close on Saturday, July 25th, with US rapper Nicky Jam and the exciting Argentinian performer Nathy Peluso, along with Club Grasa, Barry B, Rodrigo Fénix, and Toni Bob.
