Lanzarote Appeal Collecting Essential Aid For Venezuela Earthquake Victims

Lanzarote’s Venezuelan community has been stunned by the earthquakes that devastated the cities of Caracas and La Guaira last Wednesday. Over 1,700 deaths have been confirmed and tens of thousands are still missing, as rescue attempts continue.

An appeal has been set up to collect medical supplies, items of personal hygiene and other items that can be sent to affected areas. The full list is on the attached poster, and deliveries can be made to the Venezolanas Unidos office on Calle Bolivia 9 in Arrecife (opposite the Mercedes-Benz showroom, behind the Shell petrol station on the Cruz Roja roundabout.)  Donations will be received from 10 am to 9pm.
