A 49-year old man has been arrested after Guardia Civil discovered more than 65 kilogrammes of hashish in his van.
The incident occurred on 4th May, when agents were checking vehicles waiting to take the ferry to Corralejo from Playa Blanca. After the man in question’s “nervous” behaviour, agents searched his van and discovered several plastic containers containing packages of hashish.
The man was arrested and placed in custody.
