A driver was rushed to hospital after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a lamp post in Puerto del Carmen on Friday evening.
The incident took place on the Rambla Islas Canarias, at around 7 pm in the evening.
Paramedics took the driver to hospital and firefighters disconnected the damaged lamp post and cleaned the area of debris while local police agents redirected traffic.
