Countdown to Saturday as Ajaxes Gastrobar Opens Its Doors in Puerto Calero

The wait is almost over as Puerto Calero prepares to welcome a brand-new gastrobar offering local flavours, international dishes and a stylish new space to eat, drink and unwind.

With opening day now almost here, the finishing touches are being made ahead of the launch of Ajaxes Gastrobar on Saturday, 18 July at Puerto Calero Plaza.

The new restaurant marks another milestone for the area’s growing commercial centre, introducing a modern gastrobar that blends contemporary surroundings with an emphasis on the flavours of Lanzarote.

Guests can expect menus built around locally sourced meat, fresh fish, cheeses and vegetables, complemented by a selection of international dishes that cater for a wide range of tastes. The focus is on quality ingredients prepared with care, whether visiting for a relaxed breakfast, a daytime meal or an evening with friends.

Drinks are equally central to the experience, with Lanzarote wines sitting alongside craft beers, premium spirits and freshly prepared cocktails. Combined with fast, friendly service and both indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant aims to become a welcoming destination throughout the week.
