Car leaves the LZ-2 main road near Yaiza

A car left the LZ-2 main road near Yaiza yesterday afternoon, although none of its occupants were injured.

The incident occurred at around 3 pm on Sunday afternoon. Emergency services attended the scene, and firemen secured the damaged vehicle and prepared it for removal.

The incident follows another on Friday, when a police car flipped onto its roof at the Rancho Texas roundabout near Puerto del Carmen at around 9 am, causing tailbacks. Neither of the Local Police officers in the vehicle were injured, although witnesses claim that the vehicle was travelling at high speed when the car flipped.
