The Canarian Security directive has issued a pre-alert for calima conditions and high winds from 11 am today.
South-eastern winds could cause gusts of up to 70 kilometres per hour, while the calima could reduce visibility to between two and three kilometres, with conditions worsening towards the end of the day.
Skies will be clear, with high cloud, and temperatures will be just over 20 degrees, with a possible minimum of 14 degrees to a maximum of 23 degrees.
