The Cabildo have just announced that they will be providing bottles made from recyclable materials in the El Salinero Theatre opposite the U.D Lanzarote Football ground, in the CIC El Almacén and the Mancha Blanca Craft Fair.

Cabildo President, María Dolores Corujo, stated “we want this small action to serve as a precedent for other administrations, seeking to contribute to the promotion of sustainability.”.
The Cabildo’s Culture Councillor, Alberto Aguiar, explained that the supply of bottled water is important for public events, which is why, “we wanted to find a way to reduce waste [caused by using ordinary plastic water bottles instead of bottles made from recyclable materials].”.
