The Cabildo has approved a new round of its Consume Lanzarote programme, with €500,000 available to encourage spending at local businesses across the islands.
Under the programme, each voucher will be worth €60. Consumers will pay €30, with the Cabildo covering the remaining €30.
Each person will be able to purchase a maximum of six vouchers, providing up to €360 to spend. The maximum public contribution per recipient will be €180.
The vouchers will be issued digitally and can only be used at participating businesses.
Cabildo president Oswaldo Betancort said the scheme “puts 500,000 euros directly toward supporting local consumption, through a system that benefits both families and small businesses in Lanzarote.”
Specific dates for registration and the use of the vouchers will be announced once the call for business applications have been completed.
