La Recova will become a showcase for Lanzarote’s gastronomy, culture and local products this Saturday, June 13th, when Arrecife stages “El Patio de los Sabores” as part of its “¡Qué bien me sabe Arrecife!” campaign.

Activities begin at 11:00am with tastings of fresh smoothies made from locally sourced fruit and vegetables. Visitors will also be able to sample Lanzarote cheeses, wines, mojos and jams while learning more about the island’s agricultural and culinary traditions.

Among the culinary highlights are live cooking demonstrations by Los del Gofio and a presentation featuring ceviche with avocado tartare, both accompanied by tastings for attendees while supplies last.

Traditional Canarian music will provide entertainment throughout the day, with performances from El Golpito, Malpeís, Parranda Los Labradores and Parranda La Aldaba.

The programme also includes demonstrations of traditional crafts linked to Canarian heritage, including roseta lacework, plant fibre crafts, empleita weaving and cochineal dyeing.

Turn down Calle Manuel Miranda (the street with the church at the end) and enjoy the celebrations.
