Teguise will host a programme of workshops, performances and storytelling on Saturday, October 31st, celebrating the Canarian tradition of remembering the deceased and passing folk customs on to younger generations.

Teguise will mark Los Finaos 2026 with a series of cultural and family-friendly activities organised by the town council’s Culture Department.

Teguise Mayor Olivia Duque said: “Los Finaos are part of our history and the traditions we have inherited from our elders. It is important for new generations to learn how these days were observed in the Canary Islands and to be able to share them with their families, maintaining that connection to our roots and our identity.”
