AENA approves €3.5 million for soundproofing properties near Lanzarote Airport

AENA, Spain’s airport agency, has approved €3.5 million for the soundproofing of 408 properties and a nursery school near the César Manrique Airport. The works are expected to be completed in the medium term.

The properties affected are located near the usual approach and landing routes in San Bartolomé, Tías and Arrecife.

Soundproofing will also be required on a further 627 properties once the current phase is completed. 

At the moment, 26 properties have already been soundproofed, and works have begun on a further 431.
