A New Chapter for Dining in Puerto Calero Begins This Saturday

A new gastrobar is preparing to open its doors in Puerto Calero Plaza, bringing a fresh dining option that combines local ingredients, contemporary cooking and a relaxed atmosphere.

Puerto Calero’s growing commercial area is about to welcome a new addition, with Ajaxes Gastrobar officially opening on Saturday, 18 July on the first floor of the new Puerto Calero Plaza.

The arrival of the restaurant adds another choice for residents, visitors and boat owners looking for somewhere to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks in one of Lanzarote’s best-known marina destinations.

Ajaxes Gastrobar has been created around a straightforward philosophy: showcasing the quality of locally sourced ingredients while offering a menu that also includes familiar international favourites. Fresh fish, island-reared meats, local cheeses and seasonal vegetables all feature prominently, celebrating the produce that Lanzarote is known for.

The restaurant combines modern interior design with outdoor terrace seating, giving guests the choice of dining indoors in comfort or enjoying the island’s warm climate outside.
