30-year-old resuscitated in Puerto del Carmen

A 30-year-old woman was saved yesterday after suffering heart failure on a boat in Puerto del Carmen.

The boat arrived at the harbour at 3.15pm, seeking assistance. Operatives from Emerlan rushed to the scene and removed the unconscious woman from the boat, quickly establishing that her pulse had stopped.

Cardio-pulmonic resuscitation (CPR) was then successfully carried out on the woman, and she was transferred to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital in a critical state.
