A 17-year-old youth is in hospital after falling from a height of 20-25 metres at the Rofera de Tao.
Emergency services were called to the quarry at 3pm, where Canarian Emergency Service workers and firemen helped transfer the youth to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital.
No further details about the seriousness of his injuries have been provided.
