Yellow rain and storm alerts issued for Lanzarote

Spain’s weather agency, AEMET, has issued yellow rain and storm alerts for today, November 3^rd, and a further rain alert for tomorrow.

Tuesday’s rain alert runs from 10 am until 9 pm, with the possibility of 15 mms of rain per hour. Northern areas of the island, such as Famara, are expected to be worst affected.  The alert is accompanied by a storm alert.

Another yellow alert is in place from 11 am until 8pm tomorrow, Wednesday 4^th November.  In this case, inland areas of Lanzarote are most likely to be affected.
