A man was rescued by emergency services after flipping his car on the LZ-46 road in Tinajo.
When the incident was called in at 3.17 in the afternoon, firemen rushed to the scene where they had to remove one of the doors of the vehicle. They then evacuated the driver, who had been suspended by his seatbelt.
The man was then placed on a support stretcher and taken to hospital, where he is reported as having suffered multiple moderate injuries.
At almost exactly the same time, another car flipped over on the LZ-35 in San Bartolomé. However, in this case the driver managed to leave the vehicle and did not require medical attention.
