Lanzarote sees heavy rain as sunny weather returns

Sunny weather is forecast for today after Lanzarote received a decent soaking yesterday.

Central and northern parts of the island received the heaviest rains, with 18 mms recorded in Arrecife and 20 mms on La Graciosa.

Playa Blanca received 3.6 mms of rain during the day while Tinajo registered zero precipitation during the day.

The forecast for today is sunny, with a very low possibility of rain showers in the afternoon.
