The right-wing ultra-catholic group Hazte Oír has once again commenced a campaign against Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, who is currently holidaying on Lanzarote.
A small but noisy demonstration took place yesterday evening at the gates of the Official Residence of La Mareta in Costa Teguise, where Sánchez is staying with his family.
The group have also posted images of cardboard cut-outs of Sánchez and his wife, with captions calling them “criminals” at the airport, the Open Mall and various beaches. They have been accused of vandalism after plastering the headquarters of the Socialist party in Arrecife with stickers.
Last year, Hazte Oír conducted a similar campaign, leaving several specially-printed beach umbrellas depicting Sánchez as a mafia boss on Playa Bastián overnight.
