Aguas de Lanzarote y La Graciosa, the new public water service managed by the Lanzarote Water Consortium, has launched a new corporate identity and website as part of its ongoing transition to a publicly managed integrated water service.
The new branding, approved this week by the Consortium’s Assembly, is intended to reflect the organisation’s commitment to providing a modern, accessible and community-focused public service while recognising the islands’ long history of water conservation.
The logo draws inspiration from Lanzarote and La Graciosa’s volcanic landscape. A triangle represents the islands and their volcanic origins, while a wave symbolises water and the traditional hydraulic systems that enabled generations of islanders to collect and preserve scarce water supplies.
According to the Consortium, the new identity is “more than just a rebranding,” representing a renewed commitment to an essential public service that remains closely connected to local communities.
The branding will be introduced gradually across the organisation, including its vehicles, offices, staff uniforms, documents, communications and other corporate materials.
Alongside the new visual identity, the service has also launched a new website at www.aguasdelanzaroteylagraciosa.com, designed to become the main platform for customer information and online services. Additional content and digital features will be added over the coming months.
The Customer Area will be temporarily unavailable while technical integration work is completed. However, customer support will continue without interruption through existing telephone services, communication channels and in-person offices.
The Lanzarote Water Consortium says the changes represent another milestone in strengthening the public water service, with the aim of making it more transparent, efficient and responsive to the needs of residents across Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
