The 2026 Wine Run Lanzarote has already attracted more than 1,300 participants, with several weeks still remaining before registration closes on June 7.

Organised by the Lanzarote Cabildo, the popular event will return to La Geria on June 13 and 14 for its 14th edition, combining sport, gastronomy, and local produce in one of the Canary Islands’ most distinctive agricultural areas.

Participants from 19 countries have already signed up to take part in this year’s event.

Organisers have also noted a rise in female participation this year, with women currently outnumbering men among registered entrants. There has also been significant growth in the number of participants aged between 50 and 60, reflecting the increasing popularity of active tourism linked to nature and landscape experiences.

The event will once again feature three main categories: a 23-kilometre long-distance race, a 12-kilometre short race, and a 12-kilometre hiking route. A programme of parallel activities connected to the Wine Festival will also take place throughout the weekend.

Registration remains open until June 7 through the official website: www.sipamlanzarote.com/winerun
