Abandoned car set on fire in Arrecife

Firefighters tackled a blaze involving an abandoned vehicle on a vacant lot in Arrecife last night.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:34pm on Calle Menéndez y Pelayo Street in Arrecife.

Local Police and the National Police attended the scene alongside fire crews. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found the vehicle completely engulfed in flames.

Firefighters brought the fire under control and then fully extinguished it. The flames also damaged a vehicle parked nearby and affected the window of a home located on Calle El Salvador.
