A new paid parking area is set to open at Lanzarote Airport by summer 2027. The facility will operate in a similar manner to the two existing parking lots.
The official call for bids to proceed with the construction of the new car park has now been announced. The initial budget, including taxes, stands at nearly 146,500 euros, and a maximum construction period of nine months has also been set.
It is likely that the contract for the work will be awarded by this coming summer. Construction may be carried out at any time, subject to prior coordination with airport management, and it will be ensured that the work does not interfere with the airport’s normal operations.
